Katrina Money for Halliburton? How Dare They!

Companies such as Halliburton Corporation are once again making money off of disasters. First the war in Iraq and now hurricane Katrina. Certainly many companies will be employed in cleaning up the mess and rebuilding the area, and maybe Halliburton is a good company to use. I honestly doubt it, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. I do of course take exception with the overcharges and “waste, fraud and abuse” they have been charged with.

The bottom line is that we must establish a competitive, but streamlined, bidding process to stop the hurricane profiteering. If you agree, please sign this petition.
