Send Hope and Love to Children with Cancer
Only one cell divides us. Healthy from cancer. Micah’s mother remembers that day four years ago when she discovered her beautiful 11-month-old baby girl could no longer crawl. Doctors at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital found a tumor growing up her spine that could not be completely removed.
Micah Micah’s family - and her doctors at St. Jude - feared that the little girl would never use her legs again to crawl… or walk.
But under the caring treatment of doctors, nurses, and specialists at St. Jude, Micah went through several surgeries and high-dosage chemotherapy. Micah is five now. Her mother calls her a walking miracle and praises St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for giving families like hers desperately needed hope.
Every single day, 33 families learn that a child of theirs has cancer… just as Micah’s family did. That’s 12,000 children… and their families… every year. And they will search, like Micah’s mother, for someone or something to give them hope for their child. Hope.
St. Jude will be there for them, too… offering treatment and caring and hope.
Won’t you please write a few words of hope and encouragement to Micah and the other children being treated at St. Jude as they battle cancer?
